PartsRiver-SAQQARA can evaluate and improve the quality of product information for applications ranging from e-Procurement systems to ERP systems. Our Data Quality Assessment Service focuses on driving ultimate savings from e-procurement by maximizing user adoption and ensuring quality data. When a client engages PartsRiver-SAQQARA through our Data Quality Assessment Services, PartsRiver-SAAQARA will focus on identification of any anomalies in a client's item master data, and will also provide a suggested course of action to remedy any anomalies discovered. Taxonomy Development Services
A taxonomy is a structured way to organize item master data. A well-defined taxonomy has several advantages: a subject matter expert always knows where to put a part; a buyer always knows where to find a part and has the ability to do a quick, detailed comparison of similar parts; and it is the most efficient search structure for the part. PartsRiver-SAQQARA has deep taxonomy development expertise across various industries.
The PartsRiver-SAQQARA Taxonomy Development Service builds client-specific taxonomy for data classification and search, building an optimum taxonomy based on reference industry taxonomies, sourcing data analysis to identify the key areas to which the products belong (i.e., electronics, furniture, computers, office…etc.); and deciding which elements of the item master data are fields, category-specific attributes or hierarchies, and provides a collaborative technology platform to enable SMEs, buyers and data content experts to build and maintain a taxonomy on an ongoing basis.
Reference Database Development & Subscription Services

Continuous, real-time price updates, cross-reference, superceded and obsolete item updates are also maintained, as is the onboarding of new suppliers, and the updating of
business rules and taxonomies, new products and off-catalog purchases. A basic tenant of this service is to offer our clients ongoing data quality compliance monitoring and knowledge transfer.

The PartsRiver-SAQQARA Hosted Model consists of a subscription-based plan that allows clients to leverage PartsRiver-SAQQARA's own hosting and data maintenance capabilities in the development, management and maintenance of new data quality initatives. Our Hosting Model incorporates hosting and data maintenance fees for the term of each client contract.

Custom Solutions Development
Custom Solutions Development is done for clients with very large data quality initiatives to deploy, manage, and maintain. PartsRiver-SAQQARA functions as both the team lead and strategic advisor to clients requiring custom PartsRiver-SAQQARA solutions, often deploying teams on-site to support client requirements for extended periods of time.
Custom Solutions are almost required for companies dealing with data quality challenges. In most companies, supplier and item master data is entered and maintained in one or more ERP, procurement, maintenance, PLM, inventory and other legacy systems. Consistency and synchronization between the various instances of the data are typically nonexistent as each system, location and user group uses different data standards, naming conventions, and classification taxonomies. The problem grows exponentially over time as underlying systems and users change and evolve. Duplicate entries, incomplete records and out of date information become too commonplace. As a result, it is difficult or impossible to manage inventory effectively, compare alternate sources of supply, analyze spend, ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, integrate new company acquisitions and implement or upgrade ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle. PartsRiver-SAQQARA offers catalog navigation and search capabilities using our unique, award-winning and patented StepSearch® technology. Thanks to the step by step technique of StepSearch, users never get a "no match" result. StepSearch allows users to quickly narrow the search results to a single product then view a detailed datasheet of the selected product, or compare a few products side by side.
Diamond SearchTM - Next Generation Product Search
PartsRiver is proud to introduce a new way to find the right product that fits your needs. Until now, you had to constantly switch between a search screen where you select the desired features and a product screen where you see the features of a product. With Diamond Search you always see a product screen and you can pick the features you want on the same screen.
The Diamond Search "diamonds" quickly rank the features you have selected. At a glance, you see the profile of the displayed product by looking at the different Diamond Ranks of its features. For example, a 400GB hard disk attribute of a laptop will have a have a higher Diamond Rank than a 200GB attribute. You can also refine your search by clicking on the diamonds or the feature names to select different options.
It's easier to browse products using Diamond Search than in the store with the added value of selecting criteria, Diamond Ranks, and comparison tables.
Sellers increase their chance of selling their products by always showing the buyer a product with its profile details and allowing the buyer to select criteria on the same screen instead of switching to a selection screen.
