PartsRiver Part Search Terms of Use

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in PartsRiver Inc. ("PartsRiver"), and the PartsRiver Part Search, as described in the PartsRiver Part Search Terms of Service (the "Terms"). This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and made a part of the Terms. Capitalized terms used, but not defined in this policy have the meanings given to them elsewhere in the Terms.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully, as it describes what information we gather from you, and how we use and disclose that information. By using the PartsRiver Part Search, you expressly consent to the information handling practices described in this policy.
The Information PartsRiver Collects:
- User-Provided Information: You may provide to PartsRiver what is generally called "personally identifiable" information (such as your name, email address, postal mailing address, home/mobile telephone number, demographic information) when using the PartsRiver Part Search, such as when you register for the site.
- "Cookies" Information: When you use the PartsRiver Part Search, we may send one or more cookies – small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters – to your computer. PartsRiver may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the PartsRiver Part Search. Persistent cookies can be removed. PartsRiver may employ such techniques, including Adobe Flash Cookies (also called "Local Shared Objects") to track information related to your interaction with features of the PartsRiver Part Search through which Flash-based content is provided. You can access various Flash Cookie management tools and configure certain privacy and security settings for your Flash Player from Adobe's web site directly.
- "Automatically Collected" Information: When you use the PartsRiver Part Search or open one of our HTML emails, we may automatically record certain information from your web browser by using different types of technology, including "clear gifs" or "web beacons." This "automatically collected" information may include Internet Protocol address ("IP Address") or other device address or ID, web browser and/or device type, the web pages or sites that you visit just before or just after the PartsRiver Part Search, the pages you view on the PartsRiver Part Search, and the dates and times that you visit the PartsRiver Part Search.

The Way PartsRiver Uses Information:
- PartsRiver uses the information you provide or that we collect to operate, maintain, enhance, and provide all of the features and services found on the PartsRiver Part Search. We will use your email address to contact you for administrative purposes, for customer service purposes, to address intellectual property infringement, rights of privacy, or defamation issues, or regarding any submissions that you have posted to the PartsRiver Part Search.
- PartsRiver uses all of the information that you provide or that we collect to understand and analyze the usage trends and preferences of our users (including preferences for third party products and services, as well as other personal and interpersonal preferences), to improve the way the PartsRiver Part Search works and looks, and to create new features and functionality, including how Services interoperate and interrelate to third party services.

When PartsRiver Discloses Information:
We are not in the business of selling your information. We do, however, disclose your personally identifiable information in a variety of circumstances in connection with developing and maintaining the PartsRiver Part Search and operating our business. For example:
- PartsRiver may disclose automatically collected and other aggregated non-personally-identifiable information with interested third parties to assist such parties in understanding the usage, viewing, and demographic patterns for certain programs, content, services, advertisements, promotions, and/or functionality on the PartsRiver Part Search.

- PartsRiver works to promote a safe and reliable service for all users. We reserve the right to disclose your information that we believe, in good faith, is appropriate or necessary to take precautions against liability; to protect PartsRiver and others from fraudulent, abusive, predatory, or unlawful uses or activity; to investigate and defend ourselves against any third party claims or allegations; to assist government enforcement agencies; to protect the security or integrity of the PartsRiver Part Search; or to protect or vindicate the rights, property, or personal safety of PartsRiver, our users, merchants whose Offers have been purchased through the PartsRiver Part Search, or others.
Your Choices:
You may, of course, decline to share certain personally identifiable information with PartsRiver, in which case PartsRiver may not be able to provide to you some of the features and functionality found on the PartsRiver Part Search. You may have the option to update, correct, or delete your profile information and preferences at any time by accessing your account preferences page through the PartsRiver Part Search. Please note that while your changes are reflected promptly in active user databases, we may retain all information you submit for a variety of purposes, including backups and archiving, prevention of fraud and abuse, and analytics.
To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting you account access or making corrections to your information. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING THE SECRECY OF YOUR UNIQUE PASSWORD AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION AT ALL TIMES.
We may now or in the future make certain tools and features for configuring your privacy settings available to you through the PartsRiver Part Search, but any such features and settings we may provide do not guarantee the anonymity or confidentiality of any information, including personally identifiable information and other submissions, you provide or submit to the PartsRiver Part Search.
Third Party Services:
The PartsRiver Part Search contains links to Web sites and services provided by third parties. Any personally identifiable information you provide on third party sites or services is provided directly to that third party and is subject to that third party's policies, if any, governing privacy and security. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of third party sites or services to which links are displayed on the PartsRiver Part Search. We encourage you to learn about third parties' privacy and security policies before providing them with personally identifiable information.
Children:
The PartsRiver Part Search is not directed at persons under the age of 13. Consistent with United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personal information from anyone under the age of 13 without requiring parental consent. Our Terms of Use expressly state that users must be over the age of 13 to use the PartsRiver Part Search. Any person who provide their personal information through the PartsRiver Part Search represents that they are 13 years of age or older. If we learn that personally-identifiable information has been collected from a user under 13 years of age on or through the PartsRiver Part Search, then we will take the appropriate steps to cause this information to be deleted. If you are the parent or legal guardian of a child under 13 who has provided JoynIn with personal information, please contact us to have that child's information deleted.
Data Security:
PartsRiver uses a variety of physical, managerial, and technical safeguards designed to improve the security of our systems and your personally identifiable information. Notwithstanding these efforts, it is possible that certain third parties may gain unauthorized access to your personal information. In some cases this may happen without PartsRiver's knowledge. There is no guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. You transfer your information to PartsRiver at your own risk.
If PartsRiver learns of a security systems breach, then we may attempt to notify you electronically through the information you have provided to us in registering for the PartsRiver Part Search so that you can take appropriate protective steps. PartsRiver may post a notice through the PartsRiver Part Search if a security breach occurs. Depending on where you live, you may have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach in writing, and you may notify us that you wish to receive such notice.
International Visitors:
The PartsRiver Part Search is intended for users located in the United States. Your information may be stored and processed in any country in which PartsRiver and its affiliates maintain facilities, including the United States and other locations outside of the EU and Canada. In this regard, or for purposes of sharing or disclosing data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, PartsRiver reserves the right to transfer, store, and process your information outside of your country. By using the PartsRiver Part Search, you consent to any such transfer, storage, and processing of your information outside of your country. Further, we may transfer this data from the United States to other jurisdictions in connection with storage and processing of data, fulfilling your requests, and operating the PartsRiver Part Search.
In the Event of Merger or Sale:
In the event that all or a portion of PartsRiver or its assets are acquired by or merged with a third party entity, we reserve the right, in any of these circumstances, to transfer or assign the information that we have collected from users in connection with such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control.
Changes and Updates to this Privacy Policy:
Please revisit this page periodically to stay aware of any changes to this Privacy Policy, which may be revised periodically at PartsRiver's sole discretion, as provided in the Terms. Note that our amended Privacy Policy will take become effective on a going forward basis as set forth in the Terms, except that (i) unless you agree otherwise, we will use your personally identifiable information in the manner described in the Privacy Policy in effect when we received that information and (ii) if you do not agree with any changes to the Privacy Policy, you may terminate your account ceasing use of the PartsRiver Part Search. Your continued use of the PartsRiver Part Search after revised Privacy Policy has become effective indicates that you have read, understood and agreed to the current version of the Privacy Policy.
