PartsRiver introduces Part Search Fleet, a revolutionary web based part search tool that not only enables your parts buyers to quickly search for and locate parts, it also shows them approved alternate parts, approved pricing, and approved suppliers anywhere in the country. Once the part has been located, an order can be placed through your system with just a mouse click. And your managers will have complete visibility of the search activity and the purchase transaction.

How does it work?

First, participating fleets provide us with their parts and supplier masters. Then, PartsRiver leverages its 9 million part database and thousands of parts sellers, and identifies those suppliers and parts, that are approved by your company. Our database has millions of cross-references of identical parts branded by different suppliers and links these to your preferred supplier part number.

Part Search Fleet recognizes your buyers by their usernames and passwords. Part Search will show the buyer the primary part and alternate identical form-fit-function parts. These parts are linked to a 'contract' price that you have established. When an authorized buyer is logged in and searches for a part number on Part Search Fleet, the system will show him or her who carries that part (based on his zip code) and a target price. It also shows approved alternate parts and sellers in case the primary part is not available.

Because Part Search Fleet integrates with AssetWorks, RTA, TMW, and other fleet management systems, once the buyer makes a buy decision, all it takes is one click to send a purchase transaction to the seller. And there is complete search and transaction tracking.
